Let's continue our journey through the sporting life of former jump jockey Richard Pitman.
In part two, Richard recalls both the ecstasy and the agony of that breathtaking Grand National ride on Crisp, perhaps the most famous of all Aintree contests. We also run a 'virtual' Cheltenham Gold Cup, pitting Richard's best horses against each other, while there is talk, too, of the brilliant but ill-fated Killiney.

As a National Hunt jockey Richard Pitman rode more than 470 winners, largely in association with the great stable of Fred Winter. His partnerships with brilliant horses such as Pendil, Crisp, Lanzarote and Bula brought both success and agonising near misses, before he hung up his boots and enjoyed a much longer career behind the microphone as one of the most recognisable voices in racing with the BBC.
Sit back and enjoy some great tales from his days both in and out of the saddle.
