As a fast bowler, Jason Gillespie was one half of statistically the most successful Test opening bowling partnership in the history of cricket, as part of the great Australia teams of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Alongside Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne, Gillespie wreaked havoc worldwide with his pace and skills.
Later, he moved into coaching and enjoyed a successful stint at the helm with Yorkshire CCC, guiding them to back-to-back County Championship titles in 2014 and 2015.
In Part 1 of his story, he recalls his rise to the top and those glory days with Australia.
